
The Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs raised the suspension of the operation of the Tech Talk application, after the application shared data that the government requested about the recent protests, knowing that Indonesia occupies the second place in the number of Tech Talk users with more than 100 million users.
The Ministry stated a few days ago that it had suspended the time license to operate the application for not providing sufficient data on the activities of the direct broadcasting feature during the anti -government protests in August.
But Tek Tok provided the required data on the same day, according to the Director General of the Ministry, Alexander Sabar, in a statement. He stated: “Based on the fulfillment of these obligations, the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs has activated the position of Tech Tuk as a registered electronic system operator.”
The company briefly stopped the direct broadcasting feature in August during the violent protests that broke out after the death of a man shocked by a police car.
On Monday, the Indonesian Anti -Anti -Monopathic Authority tweeted at 900 thousand dollars for not notifying the regulatory authorities in a timely manner regarding its acquisition on the e -commerce platform, Tokopidia.
