Nassar: Hezbollah must engage in the state project and our interest immediately limit weapons

The Minister of Justice, Adel Nassar, considered that “the independence of the judiciary is essential and it is necessary to remove the judges from any pressure, whatever they are,” noting that “the judicial formations were achieved away from the judicial patronage.”

Regarding the investigation of the Beirut Portfolio explosion, Nassar said: “In respect of the principle of the independence of the judiciary, I do not interfere in the investigations that Judge Bitar is conducting, but there is a unremitting follow -up to the file of recovery of the ship, and he is currently arrested and is not subject to investigation, and we follow the procedures to recover the owner of the ship to investigate him in Lebanon, and we must stick to this file, and we secure all the obligations to complete these investigations Judge Bitar in the framework of the powers of the Ministry of Justice.
On the Lebanese-Syrian meeting, he said: “The basic interests relate to the perpetrators of crimes in Lebanon and those fleeing to Syria, including Habib Al-Shartouni, and by handing us any documents or information related to political assassinations, and the important thing is to move these investigations, and the response was positive and understanding, in addition to the file of the hidden forcibly.”
Regarding the issue of the Syrian detainees in Lebanon, Nassar said: “There is a positive in dealing by the two parties, but the solution is not at the expense of the blood of the Lebanese people.”
