The celebration of the Lebanese national anthem was started, then it was a welcome speech to the journalist Munther Al -Marbi, and stressed that “the opening of this medical edifice constitutes a qualitative step in strengthening the right of citizens to medicine and health care in a long deprivation area.” The mayor of the Mahmoudi Municipality, Abdel Moneim Othman, gave a speech in which he welcomed Minister Nasser Al -Din, the deputies and actors, saying: “Your Excellency the Minister, if your presence today is between us The health sector, especially the primary health care services in Akkar. The establishment of the center came as a long partnership that started in 2018 between the municipality of Mahmoudiya and the German municipality of Ovanbach, contributed to facing health challenges during the Corona crisis, and raised health awareness among the people. For refugees funded by the German Development Bank to complete internal rehabilitation according to modern health standards. We believe that you are the people of honesty, and we hope that Akkar will enjoy the deprivation, poverty and burden of displacement, with exceptional support that enhances its steadfastness and raises its affairs. ”In turn, Al -Braini pointed out that“ the region needs to be joined and cooperated to communicate its voice to the competent references ”, stressing“ the necessity of supporting Dr. Abdullah Al -Rassi Governmental Hospital, and working to establish a new government hospital in the area To secure the health service of all the people of Akkar. ”For his part, Mahmoud Ahmed, representative of the Norwegian Refugee Council, spoke, praising the fruitful cooperation with the municipality of Al -Mahmoud, stressing that“ the rehabilitation of the building took place according to the highest specifications thanks to local and international support, and everyone was keen to be the center in the service of the people of the region without exception. ” Nasser Al -Dinth, Minister Rakan Nasser Al -Din, gave a speech in which he expressed his happiness with the visit of Akkar, and said: “Akkar is the tributary of all the energies of the youth of Lebanon, and I feel a real affiliation with the people of this region. In all of Lebanon, we will also secure chronic medicines at the expense of the Lebanese state. At the end of the celebration, Minister Nasser Al -Din instilled an olive tree in the courtyard of the center as a symbol of peace and giving, then cut the traditional strip marking the official opening of the center, and toured the attendees in its sections. On the occasion, honorary shields were offered to the Minister and the Norwegian Council of Refugees in appreciation of their efforts in supporting the health sector in Akkar. He participated in providing shields in addition to the mayor, Othman Al -Nawab and the town chosen by Ahmed Salihouh Akkar and its dependencies for the Greek Orthodox, where Bishop Basilius Mansour received him, before he concluded his visit to Dr. Abdullah Al -Rassi Governmental Hospital in Halba.
