
The generators group in Keserwan’s districts, Al -Matn and Baabda, issued a statement today, Friday, in which he announced “his full commitment to the decisions of the Ministry of Energy and official directives, especially regarding the installation of justice in accordance with the assets and the commitment to the monthly guideline with full transparency.”
The gathering explained that “there is no president or official spokesman in his name, and any person or party that claims to be represented is not related to him and is not considered a reliable reference.” He added: “In light of the statements and attitudes that are published falsely attributed to the owners of generators, it is important to confirm that our gathering includes only those who are committed to the laws and regulations in force in the Lebanese Republic, and always puts itself in any service. A national orientation that contributes to organizing this vital sector, taking into account the public interest and preserving the rights of citizens.
He continued: “We have started since the issuance of the official directives to install the counts according to the required standards, and we have adopted the pricing of the Ministry of Energy, and we also contributed to creating job opportunities for a large number of Lebanese in various regions, participating in strengthening the national economy in light of the current challenges.”
He continued: “We realize that the generators have become a basic need for the Lebanese citizen in light of the inability of the official institutions, we assure that this need will not be a means of exploitation or extortion, but rather we consider electricity a right acquired for the citizen, and we seek with all our capabilities to provide a fair and transparent service that preserves the dignity of people and their rights.”
He added: “We will continue to communicate with the ministries of energy, economy and the environment to address some of the points that are still stuck, some of which need to be clarified and others are a limited amendment related to pricing, ensuring the continuity of this vital sector and the service of the citizen better.”
The gathering renewed his commitment to survival an active and responsible partner in the path of reform and organization of this sector, under the umbrella of the state and its institutions, and in full coordination with the relevant ministries, in a manner that ensures the continuation of service for citizens in a framework of transparency and accountability and reduces the burdens that burden people. “
He concluded: “We are under the ceiling of the law, with the state, and for the sake of the citizen.”
