
Acting Governor of Lebanon, Iman Al -Rafii, received in its office in the Tripoli Saraya, a delegation that included former head of the Supreme Sunni Sharia courts, Sheikh Nasser Al -Saleh, and the director of the Islamic Center in Tripoli, Sheikh Rami Al -Fari, along with Mohab Ghazi.
The meeting, which was characterized by friendliness and frankness, focused on issues of concern to the people of the city of Tripoli, the port and the various regions of the north, especially the files of a social, development and religious nature. The attendees emphasized that the coordination between religious and social activities on the one hand, and the governorate on the other hand, is a basic pillar to enhance the service of citizens and fortify stability. During the meeting, the delegation expressed his gratitude to Al -Rafii Governor for her participation in the ceremony honoring Sheikh Al -Saleh last week, considering that its presence is an official appreciation of his judicial and religious career. The delegation also presented congratulations to Al -Rafii on the occasion of its new duties, wishing it success in its responsibilities. In turn, the Governor Al -Rafii stressed that the Tripoli Brigades “will remain an open house for all activities and bodies in the north,” stressing that close cooperation between official institutions and religious and social references “is the best way to consolidate security and promote development.” She added: “I consider myself a partner with all the sons of the north, and I will work with all my effort to be the province to be a comprehensive and incubator space for issues that mean citizens.”
