Minister of Tourism, Laura Lahoud, visited the Ehden Reserve, where she was received by the Mayor of Zgharta-Ehden, Engineer Piaro Zakhia Al-Duwaihi, the Director of the Ehden National Forest Reserve, Engineer Sandra Kusa Saba, and members of the municipal council and the reserve’s work team.
Minister Lahoud stopped at the headquarters of Ain al-Bayadh, one of the entrances to the reserve, and spoke with visitors to the reserve from various Lebanese regions about their observations and impressions. She listened to a summary of the reserve’s work plan, its future projects, and its importance as a scientific laboratory, and presented to her cedar from her nursery.
