The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, received in Maarab the newly elected administrative body of the Youth Bouchrieh Club, headed by Mukhtar Charbel El-Khoury, accompanied by the President of the Lebanese Volleyball Federation, Walid Al-Qassouf, and the former club president, David Zidane.

The meeting was attended by MPs Melhem Riachi and Razi Al-Hajj, the head of the party’s sports office, Youssef Al-Qasifi, the coordinator of the Matn region, Michel El-Gammal, the vice president of the Lebanese Volleyball Federation, Ghassan Al-Qardahi, the federation’s director, Mounir Shaheen, and the head of the Foreign Relations Committee, Roy Semaan.

The attendees discussed the general sports situation in Lebanon and the importance of this sector at various levels, and Geagea stressed the need for sports to serve society, and for politics not to enter its fields.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation presented the Chief of Forces with a Shibaba Bouchrieh Club shirt.
