A member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Hussein Jish, considered that “the enemy was able to kill the martyr Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and some leaders as a result of his superiority in technology, but despite that, he was unable to achieve any progress in the field against the heroes of the resistance over a period of 66 days, despite his mobilization of five military teams.”
He said: “Our heroes stood firm and faced with pride and dignity like the mountains and cedars of Lebanon, and today they are present and ready to confront any major aggression against Lebanon, according to what the Americans and Israelis are threatening to invade.”
He added: “We say to the enemies that the time has passed in which you could break the will of resistance among our people and our nation, and a nation that has resistance will not die.”
In the context of the ceasefire in Gaza, Representative Jishi saluted “the heroes of Palestine, its proud and unbreakable people, and the confrontations waged by Palestine’s heroes, braves, and knights over the course of more than two years.”
He said: “They faced the Israeli enemy and its American successor and its followers with limited capabilities. They faced the army that was said to be invincible and equipped with the latest aircraft and technologies in the world. Yes, they defeated the invincible army, as the enemy was forced to negotiate with the lions of Palestine and was unable to liberate the Zionist prisoners except through negotiations despite all the killing, destruction, brutality and starvation.”
Representative Jishi continued: “The Israeli enemy kills and destroys where it has the great capabilities that enable it to do so, and it tries, through killing and massive destruction, to paint a picture of victory for itself, and it only fights from behind walls through its fortified tanks and aircraft.”
