The Egyptian presidency announced the holding of an international summit under the title “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit” in Sharm El-Sheikh, on Monday, under the joint chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump.
The Egyptian presidency explained in a statement on Saturday evening that the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit will be held with the participation of leaders of more than twenty countries.
The Egyptian presidency confirmed that the summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen efforts to bring peace and stability to the Middle East region, and open a new page of regional security and stability.
The Egyptian presidential spokesman indicated that this summit is being held in light of US President Donald Trump’s vision to achieve peace in the region and his tireless efforts to end conflicts around the world.
