Geagea: Berri disrupts the elections by ignoring 67 deputies

The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, issued a statement in which he considered that the disruption of the legislative session “has the responsibility of President Nabih Berri.”
Geagea said: “How is it permissible for 67 deputies to have applied for months, not yesterday, with the proposal of a repeated urgent law to amend the election law in preparation for merit, yet the council president ignored this proposal and hit the wall with the request of 67 deputies, bypassing the internal system and the customs in force since the establishment of the parliament?” He added: “Saying that the proposal is taught in the sub -committee, because The committees are referred to the committees only after being presented to the General Assembly. They constitute the majority of the council. ”
