The evacuation of a path in the casino file and expected to deal with the file as a criminal misdemeanor

It was found over time that the project was only a cover for legalizing and fortifying corruption, as it allowed public money to be allowed with an official cover, and opened the door to suspicions of laundering money, while the legal warnings launched by the Accounting Bureau and many experts were ignored. Instead of the return of the state, profits were shared for special interests, which reflected a direct waste of millions of dollars that were supposed to enter the state treasury.
Unless it was taken into account that the Director General of the State Security Agency, Major General Edkkar Lunds, moved firmly and cutting the road on this dangerous path of corruption and general waste, by following his accurate follow -up of the file and his direct supervision of the investigations, which led to the arrest of the main involved and an end to attempts to whiten money through suspicious political and administrative cover. In light of these developments, the judicial arrests came to include well -known personalities in the general community, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lebanon Casino, Roland Khoury, and businessman Jad Garrews, Ricardo Bashir and Danny Abboud, while Hisham Itani remained fleeing from justice, after the issuance of a detention note in absentia against him. They deposited in the investigations, which made the file take exceptional dimensions due to its sensitivity and complexities.
In this context, the accusation committee in Mount Lebanon, headed by Judge Fadi Al -Aridi, and the judges Anias Maatouk and Maya Awaidat, were assigned and issued a series of decisions regarding requests to evacuate the way for the detainees. A financial guarantee meeting of twenty billion Lebanese pounds for each of them, while preventing them from traveling and notifying public security.
In the event that the misdemeanor is finally fixed, the case will be referred to the individual criminal judge, who is likely to be in Jounieh, given that the crime occurred within the scope of Kesrouan where the Casino of Lebanon is located. There, the individual judge will issue his ruling in the case.
However, the judicial path does not necessarily stop at this point, as the possibility of appeal and discrimination remains in front of the highest -degree courts by the Cases Authority or the Appeal Public Prosecution, which means that the “Betarabia” file may witness additional judicial rounds, before a final and final ruling is issued.
