DBDDDDD opens its first office in Lebanon .. Fouad Shihab Dandan is a regional director

DP World – “DPDDRED” has announced the appointment of Eng. Fouad Shehab Dandan as Vice President and Regional Director in Lebanon, to establish the first representative office of the group in the country by December 2025, and to lead efforts to expand its presence in Lebanon and the Arab East.
The company said in a statement that Dandan has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of communications, business development and diplomatic relations, as he held the position of Lebanon’s ambassador to the UAE since 2017, and before it held high executive positions in technology and business companies in the Middle East and Africa. Dandan Master of Business Administration from Madonna University in the US state of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technology University in Michigan. The group confirmed that Lebanon has a strategic location in regional and international trade, noting that the opening of its office in Beirut will enhance the commercial links between the UAE and Lebanon and embody the commitment Abdullah bin Damithan, CEO and Director -General of “DP and Reclorer” in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries: “Fouad Dandan is appointed a pivotal step within our strategy in the Levant. The statement pointed out that the volume of trade between Dubai and Lebanon in 2024 reached about 154 thousand metric tons with a value of more than $ 3 billion, and that the Port of Jebel Ali and the free zone “Jafza” constitutes a basic gateway to this exchange, where the free zone includes more than 160 Lebanese companies active in Various sectors that include health care, pharmaceutical industries, electronics and vehicles, while Lebanese companies continue to export their agricultural and food products and personal care to global markets across Dubai.
