The launch of the National Influenza Vaccination Campaign 2025 in Lebanon

The Ministry of Public Health, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, and with the support of the PIVI initiative, launched the National Influenza Vaccination Campaign 2025, at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, under the auspices of the Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nasser Al -Din.
Nasser Al -Din stressed that the campaign represents a basic preventive step to protect the most vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, pregnant women, people with chronic diseases and health workers. For his part, the representative of the World Health Organization in Lebanon, Dr. Abdel Nasser Abu Bakr, praised the ability of the Lebanese health system to continue to provide services despite the challenges, stressing that protecting the categories exposed For qualified groups, amid official and media calls to spread the campaign slogan: “Protect yourself. Protect others. Take the vaccine.”
