The National Media Agency reported that the town of Al -Kafour suffers from the flow of sewage streams from the city of Nabatiyeh and the two countries of Haboush and Kfarman, to the lands of the town of Numayriya, which led to the damage of the crops and the stiffness of a large number of olive trees in the region.
In this context, Mukhtar Al -Kafour handed Tawfiq Safa a book of damage, calling for the formation of a committee of the ministries and departments for the field detection and compensation for the affected farmers. Safa directed copies of the book to both the governor of Nabatiyeh, Howaida Al -Turk, the Office of the Ministry of Information, the ministries of the environment, energy and water, the Union of Al -Shaqif Municipalities, and the Council of Development and Reconstruction, under the title: Environmental pollution and hydration of wastewater in agricultural infidels lands.
