President Aoun: Once again, the army pays blood the price for maintaining stability in the south

The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, expressed the severe professionalism of the martyrdom of a first officer and assistant in the army and wounding a soldier this evening as a result of the explosion of an Israeli march that fell in the Ras al -Naqoura area in the western sector of the south, during the disclosure of it.

President Aoun said, after being informed of the army commander, General Rudolph Haykal, on the details of the painful incident, that the army is paying the blood again the price of maintaining stability in the south, and this is the fourth incident in which military personnel have been martyred since the army began to spread in the southern Litani area, and it coincided with the extension of the Security Council of the International Forces operating in the south “UNIFIL” and the call of the international community to Israel to stop its attacks and withdraw from the lands occupied by the Lebanese army and empower the Lebanese army From completing the extension of his authority to the international borders.
President Aoun extended his condolences to the two martyrs to the commander of the army and the military establishment, asking them for mercy and their families with patience and solace, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded soldier.
