“We want to open a new historical page with Lebanon, based on overcoming the legacy of the past and the negative memory,” said Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara.

Al -Shara added: “We want a relationship with Lebanon from a country to a country based on economic treatments, stability and a common interest.”
He pointed out that “the agreement with the oppressor of my servant has internal and external support, which is the floor on which any dialogue is built.”
Al -Shara affirmed “the necessity of the unity of Syria, and the lack of acceptance of a weapon outside the state.”
He continued: “There is an advanced research on a security agreement between Syria and Israel.”
