The small city of Soutbort, North Carolina, witnessed, on Saturday evening, a horrific incident in which 3 people were killed and 8 others were injured as a result of a shooting targeting a bar on the waterfront. Che Ann Kitham, a city spokeswoman, said that the accident occurred in the Yacht Basin in the city of Soutbort when a gunman opened fire from a transit boat in the “Cape Fair” river towards an outdoor bar known as the name American Fish Company, before the boat continues to walk through the coastal waterway.

The authorities confirmed that they are holding a “person who is interested” pending the investigation, while the identity of the shooter or its motives has not yet been announced.
