The foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and China have re -sent a message to the Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, calling for the Security Council not to allow the European “Troika” countries to re -impose sanctions on Iran.
This comes after the British, Germany and France foreign ministers announced last week, in a joint statement, that they notified the UN Security Council to launch the “immediate restoration” mechanism of sanctions on Iran within 30 days, known as “Snapback”.
