On Friday and Saturday, August 23, the General Directorate of Public Security carried out a security campaign in the areas of the course and the two transactions, targeting prostitution networks and those involved in facilitating it.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of 26 people of different nationalities, men and women, based on the reference to the competent judiciary. The Directorate confirmed in a statement that it will continue to implement the law firmly, to protect society and preserve its stability, and to prevent any phenomena that offend social values and security.
