300 billion pounds for the Housing Bank

The Housing Bank announced in a statement, “The Bank of Lebanon agreed on August 20, 2025 to release the amount of 300 billion Lebanese pounds from the bank’s account, which is exclusively devoted to financing housing restoration loans, in a move that is a prominent station that reflects the continuous confidence in the role of the Housing Bank and its mission.”
He pointed out that “these loans are specialized for people with low and medium income in addition to people with special needs, where beneficiaries can obtain a loan of 2 billion Lebanese pounds, at a rate of 7%, and a period of payment that extends up to 10 years, with a three -month deadline, provided that it is re -renewed after the initial amount is exhausted, in a way that ensures the continuity of the program and its ability to support more Lebanese families in the future.” The statement is that “the Housing Bank will start receiving the restoration loans requests starting from Monday, 25 in all its branches deployed on Lebanese soil.”
