Heikal received a delegation from the US Congress

Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal received at his office in Yarzeh this afternoon a delegation from the US Congress that included Darin Lahood and Steve Cohen, in the presence of the US Ambassador Lisa Johnson with an accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the general situation in Lebanon and the latest developments were discussed, and the primary role of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon – UNIFIL was emphasized in light of the exceptional conditions and difficulties that Lebanon is going through.
