Local factions in the As -Suwayda Governorate, the stronghold of the Druze community, announced their merger during the past days in a new formation called the “National Guard”, in a move aimed at unifying military efforts in the province.

According to the “As -Suwayda 24” network, several fighter factions have published data confirming their joining this formation, explaining that the goal is to create “an organized and solid force to protect and protect the country and the people.” The region, and the need to prevent them from slipping into chaos, by gathering the factions under one leadership, and controlling the deployed weapon randomly, and securing the villages in the face of any possible attacks. Also, to protect the borders and control them from the Badia side to prevent the smuggling of weapons and drugs and the infiltration of the militants, considering that this step represents a transition from separate factional work to an organized institutional framework that remains under the roof of the state and the law.
