The Minister of National Defense, Major General Michel Mansi, received in his office in Yarzeh today the head of the Special Education Department, Imad Al -Ashqar and the Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General Hassan Odeh, and the problems faced by the military were presented in paying the premiums of private schools for their children.
It was agreed to set a date soon to meet with officials in the Association of the Private Schools Union to work to find a fundamental solution to this issue. The Minister of Defense stressed that “the solution to this problem must be fair and commensurate with the low value of all military pensions, especially with the great expected rise for the next year in the premiums of private schools.”
