From the hotel to Beirut Airport .. This is how an attempt to smuggle 40,000 dollars fell!

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division was issued the following communication:
On 19-08-2025, the elements of the airport inspection platoon in the Unit of Embassies, departments and public institutions managed to thwart the smuggling of / 40,000 US dollars, which was seized in the lining of a short pants worn by one of the travelers, while trying to leave Lebanese lands to Egypt with another, and the Egyptians: M. P. (Born in 1985), M. M. (Born in 1984) by investigating them by the administrative and justice group, the first admitted that he came to Lebanon to recover funds from a Lebanese citizen working with him in trade, as the latter sent the amount to him with an unknown person to the hotel, he did not examine and did not know that he was fake. The second denied his relationship with the process of smuggling money, and that it is present in Lebanon with the aim of establishing a business.
