“UNIFIL” announced that “during a recent field operation in southern Lebanon, peacekeepers in UNIFIL discovered, in close coordination with the army, a tunnel of about 50 meters and a number of unwanted munitions near Qusayr. According to Resolution 1701, these assets were handed over to the army.”
She added, “UNIFIL continues to carry out patrols, monitoring and work with the army to help restore stability and security to the area of operations.”
