Six people were injured in a horrific traffic accident that occurred on the Halba Highway in Akkar, as a result of a collision between a number of cars, while rescue and ambulance teams were on alert at the scene.
According to the “Lebanon Debate” correspondent, civil defense members from the Halba center intervened and cut the frame of one of the cars using hydraulic equipment, after it suffered severe damage, and they were able to pull out one of the people trapped inside it.
In parallel, Red Cross teams transported the six injured people from the accident site, where they were distributed between Abdullah Al-Rassi Governmental Hospital in Halba and Al-Youssef Hospital Center to receive treatment.
