Spanish press reports revealed details that led to a shift in the compass of Spanish player Rodrigo Hernandez “Rodri,” the Manchester City midfielder, towards Barcelona and his refusal to move to Real Madrid, despite having previously entered into advanced negotiations with the Royal Club.

Reports stated that there were 3 main reasons that prompted Rodri to turn his back on Real Madrid:

-Slowness and procrastination: The player blamed the Royal Club’s management for the delay in moving towards him and prioritizing other deals and renewing contracts.

-Media leaks: Rodri is disturbed by the continuous leaks about President Florentino Pérez’s complete unwillingness to include him.

– Dressing room atmosphere: Information reached the player indicating the existence of tensions within the Real Madrid dressing room, for which he was not convinced by the explanations provided.

On the other hand, Rodri prefers to move to the “Blaugrana” because he feels more comfortable on the professional and personal levels, and his close knowledge of most of Barcelona’s players through the Spanish national team, as well as the suitability of the team’s playing style to its capabilities.
