The Doctrinal Council of the Druze Sect

The General Assembly of the Doctrine Council of the Almohads community was held in its periodic meeting in the sect house in Beirut, headed by the President of the Council, Sheikh of Al -Aqel, Dr. Sami Abi Al -Mona, in the presence of the President of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt, Representatives Marwan Hamada, Wael Abu Faour, Faisal Al -Sayegh, and members of the Council.
Sheikh Abi Al -Muna opened the session, stressing the importance of the regularity of the council’s work in its regular sessions and activating the role of its committees, in addition to the role of the General Directorate of the Council and the Directorate of the Sheikh of the Mind, with a focus on developing work to improve performance and provide the best for monotheistic society in the current stage, in order to enhance confidence and implement the necessary plans to achieve the goals envisaged. Representative Hamada talks about the general political reality and its effects on the sect, indicating the attitudes of the professor Walid Jumblatt about the events of As -Suwayda, stressing the importance of unifying visions and their approach to serve the sect and the region. After that, the members of the Board of Directors presented the work of the committees and development proposals. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Sheikh of the mind summarized the following basic points:
1. Seek to address fundamental issues, including investing endowment real estate, completing monotheistic culture programs, developing a family welfare project, providing support to needy families, and enhancing communication with expatriates.
2. Follow the filling of vacancies in the departments of the sheikhdom of the mind and the sectarian council after the approval of the Council of Ministers.
3. Development of the centers affiliated with the Council, including the health center in Alia and the College of Prince Abdullah Al -Tanoukhi University of Tahbidi Sciences in his players, and the monotheistic culture centers in the regions.
4. The continuation of the campaign to support our people in As -Suwayda, provide humanitarian aid, communicate with international organizations to open safe roads, and relieve the suffering of the people in light of the blockade imposed on Jabal Al -Arab.
5. Emphasizing the positions of the Council and the Sheikh of the Mind on the events of As -Suwayda, based on the historical foundations of the sect and its established Islamic and Arab identity.

7. appealing to all the people of the sect to be with wisdom, avoiding quarrels, and working for the good of the sect, with the aim of overcoming ordeal and re -promoting it in peace.
