Today, after the dramatic developments that occurred, we face a crisis whose seriousness is no less than the continuation of the war, linked to the implementation of the legitimate state’s decision that handles the party’s weapon and the dissolution of its military organization, and the party’s position rejecting this decision, and its threat if the state decides to follow it, citing that handing its weapons to the legitimate authority is in the service of Israel, and that this decision is contrary to the National Accord document that was approved in Taif, what was returned to Lebanon He appointed the storm, and dropped the historical opportunity available to Lebanon. We wonder about the real reasons that drive Hezbollah to adhere to his illegal weapon, and his refusal to seize the opportunity to rebuild a lady state, liberate what the Israeli al -Alawdo occupied the land, and stop the daily violations by the assassination of its elements and destroy its warehouses, after it was proven that this weapon did not protect Lebanon. We ask about the party’s interest in the face of its state and legitimate authority, pushing the country into a civil war, and colliding with the Lebanese army, with the great risks that will result in the unity of Lebanon and coexistence.
As for the claim of Hezbollah that the decision to dissolve its militia and hand over its weapons to the state is contrary to the document of national reconciliation, I would like to confirm, as a participant in discussing and formulating the document, that this claim is absolutely incorrect, because he did not respond in the document a single word about the compromise and its weapon.
The National Accord Document has been entrusted with the legitimate Lebanese state, without others, to take all measures to liberate the south, and reaffirmed Lebanon’s adherence to the armistice agreement with Israel, despite the repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanon, and the overwhelming majority in Taif refused, even discussing the memo presented by some deputies, Syria’s allies at the conference, under the name of the “National Front”, which was mentioned in the eighth item of what its craftsmanship: “Support Al -Maq.
