From Geagea .. A message to Hizb. Hezbollah

In an interview on Al -Arabiya channel, today, Monday, Geagea saw that “Hizbullah’s decision to surrender its weapon is linked to Iran.” He added: “Despite the weakness of Lebanon, nothing was imposed on it.”
Geagea considered that “the position of the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun and the government, Nawaf Salam, is fixed in making Lebanon an independent state.”
Geagea stated that “the provisions of the American paper are linked to the inventory of arms in the hands of the state,” noting that “Lebanon’s message to the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Iranian National Security, Ali Larijani, confirmed that the state’s kidnapping was refused by investing in specific parties.”
He continued: “Hezbollah cannot confront an entire state, while the Lebanese state extends its influence by controlling weapons. On the other hand, Iran is building its influence through Houthi in Yemen and the Iraqi popular crowd, and I hope that Hezbollah responds while restricting weapons to avoid resorting to power.”
He continued: “My message to Iranian leaders do not interfere in the affairs of Lebanon, nor accountability for Israel because Hizbullah has devoted its right to defend its security.”
