China launches the world's first vocational training school "Humanoid robots"

The Chinese city of Hangzhou witnessed the opening of the first school of its kind in the world dedicated to training and qualifying human robots. The facility received its first batch of thirty robots who are undergoing specialized educational programs that grant them accredited professional certificates to work in actual jobs. This pioneering project comes as a result of strategic cooperation between the Robotics Institute at Zhejiang University and government and private entities, with the aim of strengthening Beijing’s position in the global artificial intelligence sector.

The technological facility relies on an advanced training curriculum to raise the efficiency of perception and interaction among machines, as each robot is equipped with a super-computing unit known as the “infinite brain” to accelerate image processing and develop logical thinking. After undergoing comprehensive mechanical and programming tests, the robots were distributed to four main tracks, including technical fields, health care, arts, and sports activities, to prepare them to work in hospitals and public facilities.

At the conclusion of its course, the school seeks to grant the robots that pass the final evaluations recognized certificates that will allow them to be directly integrated into the service, logistics and industrial sectors. This development represents a radical shift in technical philosophy by transforming robots from mere testing tools into an intelligent workforce capable of continuous development, which opens new dimensions in the global debate about the future of the economy and the modern labor market.
