Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that negotiations with the United States created economic opportunities and contributed to reducing tension in the region, especially in Lebanon, stressing at the same time that Tehran did not make any concessions during the course of the negotiations.

Pezeshkian said, “Negotiations with Washington created economic opportunities and reduced tension in the region, especially in Lebanon.”

He added, “Iran has become an influential force in regional and international equations, and the enemy has been unable to subjugate us despite the pressure.”

The Iranian President stressed that his country “welcomes dialogue to ensure national interests,” stressing that it “did not make any concessions in the negotiations.”

Bezeshkian’s statements come in light of the continued implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between Tehran and Washington, and after the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the priority at the current stage is implementing the terms of the memorandum, and that there are no plans to hold new negotiations with the United States in the coming days, while communications related to implementation mechanisms continue amid anticipation of the upcoming meetings in Doha.
