International press reports revealed that Tottenham are preparing to move to sign Egyptian Omar Marmoush, the Manchester City player, during the summer transfer market.

Marmoush is currently with the Egypt national team in the 2026 World Cup, after contributing to scoring 4 points before facing Iran tomorrow morning, in the third round of the group stage.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Tottenham has expressed interest in obtaining Marmoush’s services, in light of the player’s desire to get more playing time.

The Egyptian striker is admired by Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbe, who is seeking to strengthen his attacking line during the coming period.

The London club may make an official offer in the coming days to sign Marmoush, who had difficulty securing a starting place with Manchester City last season.

Marmoush played 61 matches with Manchester City, during which he scored 16 goals and made 6 assists, since his move from Frankfurt in the winter transfer market before last.
