In this context, the head of the Estimates Department at the Meteorological Authority confirms in Beirut AirportMohamed King, in an interview with “Libanon Deepite”, that “Lebanon is witnessing the beginning of a gradual decline in the hot blocks that affected the country in the past days,” noting that “the temperatures will begin to decline, especially at home, where approximately two degrees will be expected, provided that this decline will continue tomorrow, Saturday, to reach about four degrees, so the temperature is approaching their rates, with a slight survival The rate, to be on Sunday within or without seasonal rates.

With regard to mountainous areas, King explains that “the temperatures will record a remarkable decline today, as well as in the south, while the decline is limited in the capital, Beirut, where the temperature remains close to its average, and it is expected to reach a maximum of about 34 degrees Celsius.”

He notes that “the most prominent decrease is recorded in mountainous and internal areas, while it is slight on the coast, however, the heat is still above its seasonal rates, but the humidity is medium and is not high, as it is about 70%.” And tomorrow, Saturday, an additional and tangible decrease will take place on temperatures, to approach the general rates, and even record without them in some mountainous areas, with the decline continuing on Sunday, so that the heat will be within or under the rates.

King explains, “Details of the expected temperatures today, stressing that they“ range on the coast between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius, which is considered acceptable compared to the past days when the heat touched 38 degrees, and in some areas it reached 39 degrees, while in Tripoli, today ranges between 23 and 35 degrees Celsius, and in Zahle between 24 and 39 degrees, to decrease tomorrow to between 20 and 36 degrees, i.e. remains A little higher than its rates, while the humidity on the coast will range between 45% and 75%, which contributes to creating a more comfortable atmosphere compared to the previous hot wave.
