At night, the southern airspace witnessed a remarkable field development, as the “Lebanon Debate” correspondent reported recording flights of Israeli warplanes at medium and low levels, in what is considered the first time since the announcement of the ceasefire.

This flight coincided with violent artillery shelling targeting the areas of Nabatiyeh Al-Fawqa, Kafr Benit, and the vicinity of Kafr Rumman, amid continued attempts by Israeli forces to advance towards Ali Al-Taher Hill.

According to field data, at midnight the region witnessed clashes in which rocket weapons and artillery shells were used, in light of a continuing escalation on more than one axis in the south.

In the same context, the National News Agency reported that fake raids were recorded over the Nabatieh and Iqlim al-Tuffah regions, accompanied by violent bombing at night on the Ali al-Taher forest.

The National Agency also announced an Israeli raid targeting the town of Ansariya in the Sidon District, while the Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that Israeli drones raided the town without recording any casualties.

It also pointed to a raid on the eastern outskirts of the town of Kafr Tibnit, in a continuation of the Israeli escalation in several southern areas.

In this context, the Information and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Lebanese Civil Defense issued a statement in which it announced that Civil Defense members are continuing to open main and secondary roads in the vicinity of the sites that were targeted in the city of Nabatieh.

The statement indicated that the elements are continuing their efforts to ensure public safety requirements in the place, in addition to providing citizens with water.

The Civil Defense confirmed the continuation of implementing its humanitarian and relief missions in response to citizens’ calls, in accordance with public safety requirements, despite the difficult field conditions and challenges.
