The improvement was not limited to the number of arrivals only, but also included international tourism revenues, as Morocco moved from the thirty-second place to the thirty-first place in the world during the year 2025, after the sector’s revenues reached about 14.8 billion dollars, according to the Moroccan website “The Depth”..
The Moroccan Ministry of Tourism said that the tourism road map launched by the government in 2023 focused on enhancing air connectivity, developing the tourism offer, expanding hotel capacity, and improving the quality of the tourism experience, in addition to qualifying the human capital working in the sector..
During the first quarter of this year, Morocco recorded a 7% growth in the number of arriving tourists, a rate more than three times the global average set at 2%, according to data from the United Nations Tourism Organization..
