English club Manchester City topped the list of clubs most represented in the tournament, with 19 players distributed among various national teams, in a new indication of the club’s wide global presence in recent years.
Behind it comes the German club Bayern Munich with 18 international players, while the French club Paris Saint-Germain and the English club Arsenal share third place with 16 players each, completing the scene of European dominance in the first ranks.
The Spanish club Barcelona also registered an attendance with 15 players, while it was noteworthy that the Saudi club Al Hilal entered the list in sixth place with 12 international players, making it the only club from outside Europe in the top ten.
The list also included prominent English clubs, including Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Liverpool, in addition to Atletico Madrid, which reflects the great diversity in the distribution of players among the participating teams.
On the other hand, Real Madrid’s absence from the top ten ranks was a notable surprise, as it has only 10 players in the tournament, without any player representing the Spanish national team. The following is the ranking of the most represented clubs in the 2026 World Cup:
1- Manchester City (19)
2- Bayern Munich (18)
3- Arsenal (16)
4- Paris Saint-Germain (16)
5- Barcelona (15)
6- Al Hilal (12)
7- Atletico Madrid (12)
8- Crystal Palace (12)
