The representative of fuel distributors in Lebanon, Georges Al-Barakas, revealed that with the end of the official Eid Al-Adha holiday, the Ministry of Energy and Water will issue a new fuel price schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, which is expected to witness a decrease in the prices of gasoline and diesel.

This decline comes as a result of the decline in the prices of petroleum derivatives in global markets over the past few days, which will be directly reflected in the Lebanese market through the new schedule, while the price of a bottle of gas remains stable or within a limited margin of change pending the issuance of the official price.

It is expected that this decrease will contribute to alleviating part of the burdens on citizens and the transportation and production sectors, albeit to a limited extent, in light of the continuing living pressures and the high cost of life in Lebanon.
