During the meeting, Karami praised “the principals’ steadfastness and their communication with the administration, professors, teachers, and students,” noting that schools were divided into groups according to the status of each, with the aim of providing the necessary resources to support and serve them.
She stressed that “the Ministry of Education stands with them in the face of Israel, which is demolishing our schools,” considering that “its mission as Minister of Education is to ensure educational steadfastness, because the value of education is not equal in importance, and it is the most important means in confronting the enemy.”
She called for “continuing cooperation, communication, building trust, and preparing to ensure the continuity of education and the continuity of our schools in their educational and national mission.”
I also listened to the interventions of the principals, who presented their suggestions and visions for how to continue education and prepare for the next academic year, whether in the event of the current security situation continuing or returning within the existing school reality.
