The Sheikhdom of Mind of the Druze Unitarian sect announced, in a statement, that tomorrow, Monday, May 18, 2026, is the first day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah for the year 1447 AH, with Wednesday, May 27, being the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
The sheikhdom explained that the celebration of the blessed nights begins from the evening of this Sunday, May 17, according to the tradition adopted by the sect, “in an effort and effort to get closer to God Almighty, and by work and sacrifice to achieve the joy and happiness of the Eid, by offering obedience and performing acts of worship, by purifying and uplifting souls, and by uniting and reforming society.”
The Sheikhdom of Mind also congratulated the members of the sect, wishing everyone “a blessed tithe and an uplifting holiday that brings together the people of righteousness, goodness and goodness.”
Eid al-Adha is considered one of the most prominent religious occasions for Muslims, as it coincides with the Hajj season and believers celebrate it with prayers, worship, and family and social gatherings, amid a special spiritual and religious atmosphere that extends over the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
