“Lebanon Debate”
In light of the continuing escalation on the southern front, field sources reported to “Lebanon Debate” that the Israeli movement that was recorded in the vicinity of the eastern towns of Deir Saryan and Zawtar aims to remove casualties from the ranks of the Israeli army, after operations and targeting that the region witnessed during the past hours.
According to the information, intense Israeli military movements were observed near the eastern outskirts of Deir Sarayan and the vicinity of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, accompanied by widespread alert and drone flights over the area, amid estimates that the Israeli army is working to evacuate wounded from points close to the clash lines.
The sources indicated that the movements came after a series of operations that the “Islamic Resistance” announced were carrying out against Israeli positions and movements in the eastern sector of the south, especially in the vicinity of Deir Saryan, Tal Nahas, and Naqoura.
This development comes at a time when the southern front is witnessing one of its most tense stages in recent weeks, with a mutual intensification of military operations between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, amid continued bombing, raids, and limited ground movements.
The field escalation also coincides with the continuation of the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations in Washington, which raises the level of concern about the possibility of military developments reflecting on the existing political and diplomatic track.
Several areas in the south are witnessing continuous flights of Israeli drones, coinciding with widespread alert on both sides of the border, in light of fears of the expansion of the confrontations in the coming hours.
