Information security specialists have warned of a new danger lurking among users of Adobe programs, represented by the widespread spread of malicious PDF files that seek to infiltrate their devices and steal their sensitive data.

These attacks rely on misleading victims with files that appear legitimate at first glance, but hide within them malware that activates once the file is opened. This software exploits vulnerabilities found in outdated and outdated versions of Adobe Acrobat and Reader.

These vulnerabilities allow hackers to execute code remotely, giving them the ability to monitor users or take full control of their devices.
