
Al-Hilal team defeated its counterpart, Al-Khuloud, with a heavy score of six goals without a response, in the match that was held on Wednesday, which was an introduction to the date of the twenty-ninth round of the Saudi Professional Football League competitions.
With this victory, Al-Hilal raised its points tally to 68 points, making it only two points away from Al-Nasr, the current leaders of the league, which will play its match next Saturday against Al-Akhdood. Al-Hilal also surpassed Al-Ahly, which fell to third place with 66 points after tying with Al-Fayhaa earlier in the day.
The match witnessed a strong start for Al Hilal, as Mutaib Al Harbi opened the scoring early in the seventh minute, and just one minute later, Frenchman Karim Benzema was able to add the second goal. In the 31st minute, Benzema scored a third goal for Al Hilal, then the French star added his third goal, i.e. a “hat-trick”, and the fourth goal for his team in stoppage time of the first half.
