Al-Fayhaa obstructs Al-Ahly and ignites the summit struggle in the Roshen League

The Saudi Al-Ahly team tied with Al-Fayhaa with a score of one goal each in the match that brought them together outside the rules, in a match presented in the twenty-ninth round of the Saudi Roshan League competitions, which was held on Wednesday.

Ivan Toni, the league’s top scorer, scored the lead for Al-Ahly in the thirty-sixth minute, while Spanish player Jason Remesero equalized for Al-Fayha in the fifty-third minute.

With this result, Al-Ahly’s balance became 46 points, occupying second place in the ranking table, with the possibility of falling to third place if Al-Hilal (which has 45 points) achieves a victory over Al-Khuloud at a later time. As for Al-Fayhaa, it reached point 34 to occupy ninth place.

Al-Ahly is preparing for a strong confrontation next Monday against Al-Duhail in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League for the Elite, the tournament in which Al-Ahly holds the title.

It should be noted that the matches of the twenty-ninth round were presented to the Saudi clubs participating in the Champions League (Al-Ahly, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad) due to the Asian Football Confederation not rescheduling the round of 16 matches.
