Samsung: Enhanced cooperation with Google to facilitate the transition to the new messaging application

Samsung is taking concrete steps to encourage its customers to use the Google Messages application instead of its original application, as it seeks to improve the user experience and unify the foundations of messaging.

These steps include integrating Samsung’s own design into the Google application, to ensure a familiar interface for users, in addition to supporting advanced messaging features that allow sending high-quality photos and videos, reading notifications, and full end-to-end encryption, which are features that are not available in traditional text messages.

In addition, the company has developed a mechanism to easily transfer old data and messages, to ensure that no conversations are lost during the transition. This trend comes after Samsung announced that its new leading phones will adopt the Google application by default, with the aim of building a more integrated messaging system that is compatible with global Android standards.
