Today, the Israeli media announced the killing of an Israeli soldier in southern Lebanon, during an armed confrontation with members of Hezbollah.
According to reports, the soldier was killed during the clashes that took place yesterday in a southern region, without providing additional information about the details of this operation.
This incident comes in light of the escalation of tension on the southern front, where for weeks the region has witnessed an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, including Israeli air strikes and mutual missile bombardment targeting Lebanese towns and villages, in addition to military sites on both sides of the border.
For its part, Hezbollah continues to announce the implementation of operations against Israeli military sites in the northern region, relying on the use of missiles and drones in the context of the ongoing confrontation that is witnessing a gradual expansion.
