In a painful scene that reveals the depth of social crises, security forces discovered today an abandoned infant on the side of the road in the Western Bekaa region. This horrific incident sparked a wave of anger and resentment, and ignited an intense debate about the future of children in light of the disintegration of families and difficult living conditions.
According to a reporter, the infant, who is estimated to be about six months old, was found near the crossroads of the town of Al-Khayara in the Western Bekaa. Immediately, he was transferred to Jeb Jenin Police Station to check on his health.
Information indicates that a dispute broke out between the child’s parents, which prompted the mother to leave him with his father. The father, in turn, delivered him to his aunt’s house, but the aunt’s husband later left him in the aforementioned place, an act that aroused strong dissatisfaction among the residents.
Reports stated that a Syrian worker found him while he was passing by, so he transferred him and handed him over to the security forces, who in turn transferred him to the Jeb Jenin police station. There, the necessary measures began to protect the child and ensure his health and legal safety.
The concerned authorities continue to follow up on the case, preparing to take the necessary legal measures against those involved, and to ensure full care for the child. Demands are increasing for those responsible for this accident, which could have ended the life of an innocent child, to be held accountable.
