The General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs issued an official statement stating: “The Real Estate Court in Mount Lebanon has resumed its work, following a period of forced cessation of work imposed by exceptional circumstances outside the administration, due to public safety requirements.” The Directorate explained, “Anyone who has a review related to the aforementioned court or has a request that he would like to submit can now go to the Real Estate Registry Secretariat building in Baabda, where a temporary center has been allocated to the Real Estate Court in Mount Lebanon within the scope of the Chouf Survey Department, located in the same building, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays of every week during official working hours.”
The General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs also expressed its regret for “the emergency stoppage period and the delay it caused in completing transactions,” stressing its keenness to “resume work at an efficient pace and compensate as much as possible for the delay that occurred.”
