The curtain has risen on the qualifying competitions for the 2026 World Cup finals, whether through the European or global playoffs, which are scheduled to be held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

The teams of Iraq, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Turkey reached the World Cup through the playoffs, thus completing the 12 groups.
