Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah, received a message from Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in which he expressed his deep gratitude for his sympathy and condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. In his message, Khamenei referred to the feelings of love and loyalty he sensed on the part of the Lebanese party’s mujahideen towards the deceased.
In the context of the message, Khamenei stressed that “steadfastness and uprightness in the face of the United States and the Zionist entity constitute among the most prominent qualities of the martyr Imam and leader,” stressing that the history of the resistance, with the martyrs and leaders it presented, proves the validity of this path it has chosen.
He also stressed the continuation of the path of resistance, citing the sacrifices of figures such as Qassem Soleimani, and other leaders of the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian army, as conclusive evidence of adhering to this approach.
He pointed out that the history of Islamic resistance is full of struggle and sacrifices, recalling leaders in Hezbollah such as: “Ragheb Harb, Abbas al-Musawi, Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al-Din,” whom he considered to be the embodiment of this resistance approach.
Khamenei addressed the letter to Sheikh Naim Qassem, considering that he is leading the movement at an important historical stage, expressing his full confidence in his ability to thwart “the enemy’s plans” and restore honor and pride to the Lebanese people.
Mr. Khamenei concluded his message by emphasizing that the Islamic Republic of Iran, committed to the approach of the late Imam and martyred leader, will continue to support the resistance in the face of Israel and the United States, wishing success to the Mujahideen.
